The 2nd annual Leonard Street Christmas Lighting Competition will be held this season with the following dates:Entry Application Period: 11/01/21 through 12/20/21

       Judging Period: 12/22/21

       Winners Announced: 12/23/21

Entry Guidelines & Rules

  • Entry is FREE, No costs or fees apply.
  • The contest is open to all Tallmadge Residents and Businesses located on Leonard Street west of 8th Ave and east of 24th Ave. House must be visible from Leonard Street.
  • Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Therefore only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots will be judged from both streets). Judges will not enter the property to view back or side yards.
  • The contest is for exterior decorations only, including window decorations visible from the exterior. Judging will be done from exterior of residents only.
  • Entry Applications must be received no later than 5pm on Monday, December 20, 2021.
  • Judging will be done from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 12/22/21 and Wednesday, 12/23/21. 
  • Be creative, be festive, have fun!

  • First Impression – 35 points
  • Design – 20 points
  • Originality – 25 points
  • Creativity – 20 points
